Staying in a hotel over drill weekend? Lodging requirements have recently been modified for members of the 137th Air Refueling Wing. Here are some of the changes to be aware of so you are not left without a bed to sleep in.

Members living 50-99 miles from Will Rogers Air National Guard Base are authorized one night of lodging and members living more than 100 miles are authorized two nights.

Staff Sgt. and below are required to contact their lodging representative if lodging is authorized. The lodging representative will make hotel reservations for each member. Staff Sgt. and below are required to share rooms; no exceptions.

Tech Sgt. and above and officers are authorized to make their own reservations on UTA weekends and are authorized single rooms.

For lodging on non-UTA weekends, every member must request a lodging letter from their lodging representative prior to check-in. Once a member requests a lodging letter, the lodging representative will send the letter to the hotel. Hotels will not allow members to retroactively submit a letter after check-in. The member should also obtain a copy for their records prior to check in.

Further, there will now be a 10 dollar charge per family member invited to stay in the room paid directly to the hotel at the member's expense (check with lodging representative for hotel).

For more information and a list of current authorized hotels, contact your lodging representative, or Staff Sgt. Abby Emerson, 137th base lodging representative, at 405-686-5397.
