Five friends to call ICE with Ready Airman App Published March 8, 2015 By Airman 1st Class Brigette Waltermire 137th Air Refueling Wing WILL ROGERS AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Okla. -- A new mobile app from the Air National Guard "gives Airmen and their families quick access to important resiliency resources," according to readyairman.org. Ready Airman is an app produced by the ANG Community Action Information Board as a resiliency, risk and safety resource for ANG members and their families, according to the website. Several qualities of the app align with three 137th Air Refueling Wing pillars: Be Fit: With the app, families are able to search for care providers by either using their current location or entering their ANG wing. A section dedicated to videos offers training on suicide awareness and resiliency. Be A Team: Another feature is the ability to assign five contacts within the app itself to reach in case of emergency. Invest: There is also a resource center that offers contact information for local bases registered within the app and national websites that may be of use, such as job connections and financial programs. It is available as an app for iPhone and Android devices. Additional resources are on readyairman.org, @ReadyAirman on Twitter and their YouTube channel, Ready Airman.
