Col Jason Davis serves the Oklahoma Air National Guard as the Commander of the 137th Special Operations Wing, Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Col Davis is responsible for the combat readiness of a special operations wing consisting of three groups, including 14 squadrons and flights and 10 staff offices with more than 1,200 personnel. He directs, trains, equips and maintains a military force capable of short notice, world-wide deployments in response to Department of Defense approved war plans, contingencies and disaster relief.
Col Davis received a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy in June 1999. He is a command pilot with over 2,200 hours in the A-10, and over 1,000 hours in the AT-38B and MC-12W. Col Davis has deployed as a Battalion Air Liaison Officer/Joint Terminal Attack Controller, A-10 Pilot, and MC-12W Pilot to Afghanistan and Iraq. He has commanded at the flight, squadron, and group levels.
Prior to his current position, Col Davis was the Commander, 137th Special Operations Group, Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Col Davis is a command pilot with more than 3,200 flying hours, including more than 500 combat hours.
