Dustin Mercer, the 205th EIS project team chief, watch the completion of the installation and protection of a splice case inside a manhole, July 19, 2018, during a hangar renovation project at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. The 205th EIS team, from Will Rogers Air National Guard Base in Oklahoma City, completed more than 1,000 cable drops and installed an estimated 200,000 feet of indoor cable as part of the 6-week install for the renovation, which was estimated to be $22 million project in total.
